Brook Trout via Oil, Acrylic, and Resin

What happens when you mix media together?  BAM. Visual magic.  Glistening Brook, 15″ x 30″, $600.  Layers of oil paint, resin, and acrylic paint make this Brook Trout shine.  I played with layering resin a little bit last summer, it gives a really neat 3-D effect to the painting.  Come see it in person THIS SATURDAY at the Indiana On The Fly show in Indianapolis!

  1. This painting was magical in person! If I had the cash on hand that day, I would have gone home from the Indiana On The Fly show with the art in hand. Unfortunately for me, but great for Becca, I think it sold at the show. Truly a phenomenal piece! I hope to see her do more like this as it really made the work come to life!
